I thought I knew a lot about Colombia, but it turned out to be all evil lies force fed to me by the media. This was one of my favorite countries.

The sailboat with Cartagena behind it.

The boat crew. I don't remember everyone's name, but it was
a very international crew. From left to right we have:
England, Colombia, France, Chile, Canada, France, and USA

This is the front of one a typical bus. The drivers take
pride in their buses and decorate them quite colorfully.

This is a mud volcano. It's filled with warm mud and a great
place to get yourself nice and dirty.

There were people there to give you massages while relaxing
inside the volcano. Afterwards, we ran down to the lake to wash off.

This is the beach town of Taganga, a very tranquil place where
I went diving and hung out for a few days.

Bogotá. This city is huge with almost ten million people.
This happens to be one of my favorite big cities in the world.

A group of us went up to Monserrate, a church way up on the hill
next to Bogota. From left to right:
Sean(England), ?(Japan), me, Ohad(Israel), Georgina(Australia)

Colombia is full of waterfalls, and this was one of the more
spectacular ones near San Agustin.

This bridge had been blown up by the guerillas not too long before
we were there. The bus took us as far as the bridge, we crossed it on
foot, and then waited for a bus to come from the other direction.

A church built into a canyon near the border with Ecuador.
